Round Square is a world-wide association of more than 200 schools, in 50 countries, which focuses on the development of character.
Kurt Hahn, the Founder of Round Square, believed that it was crucial for young people to prepare for life by experiencing it in ways that are linked to Round Square IDEALS: Internationalism, Democracy, Environment, Adventure, Leadership and Service. Roedean became an accredited Round Square School in 2011, and in 2014, we became a Global Member.
Students attending Round Square Schools make a strong commitment, beyond academic excellence, to personal development and personal responsibility.
Personal development is achieved by participating in community service projects, exchange programmes, and adventures, which can, and often do, take students to all corners of the world.
