After matriculating in 1999, Karabo obtained her Business Science degree in Actuarial Science with First Class Honours from the University of Cape Town (UCT). Karabo also completed the Advanced Management Programme from Harvard Business School in 2019.

Ms Morule’s working career started at the global investment bank, J.P. Morgan where she spent almost five years, three of which were working from the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa headquarters in London, UK. In January 2016 she was appointed as Managing Director of Old Mutual Personal Finance, one of the Group’s largest business segments, servicing the needs of almost 2 million customers. Ms Morule left Old Mutual in 2020, to start Amara Strategic Investments, which is focused on angel investing, and she co-Founded Capital Art, an art-tech startup that enables both new and accomplished art collectors better understand, preserve and potentially increase the value of their art.
